On a crisp Monday evening, Week 2 of the social netball season unfolded at Kineton High School. The atmosphere was infectious, with the welcoming spirit of camaraderie and kinship in the air. Players of all experience levels took to the court, their faces aglow with excitement, ready for another fun-filled evening of netball. It was a true testament to the essence of social netball — a perfect blend of fitness, friendship, and fun.

In the Premier League, the Kineton Angels and the Kineton Shooters set the tone for the evening. The game ended with the Angels tallying 17 points to the Shooters' 12. There was an evident display of teamwork and commitment from both teams, with players showing great sportsmanship. The positive energy was palpable as both teams played an enjoyable game in great spirit.

The second match saw Hoop Hustlers play against Kineton Ladies. The Ladies finished the match with a scoreline of 23-12. The energy on the court was nothing short of electric, with team spirit and camaraderie pervading the air. Both teams demonstrated remarkable energy and sportsmanship, making the game a joy to watch.

Netball Ninjas and Kineton Stars wrapped up the evening's matches. The Stars shone bright, ending the game with a score of 17 to the Ninjas' 10. The commitment and teamwork on display were exemplary, with both teams playing in high spirits, truly embodying the social spirit of the game.

Particular mention must be made of Jo Atherton from Netball Ninjas, who was rightfully crowned the Most Valued Player of the week. Her enthusiasm and tireless movement around the court did not go unnoticed. Jo's positive contributions were not only appreciated by her teammates but also drew admiration from their opponents.
