The seventh week of the Kidsgrove Sunday Netball League took place last night, with another enjoyable evening of matches showcasing the teamwork, effort and enthusiasm of all the teams involved. Players across the league demonstrated great skill and sportsmanship throughout the games.
In the League, Net Set Go and Born To Play played out a closely contested match, with Net Set Go coming away with a 12-10 win. Both teams showed plenty of determination and worked hard from start to finish in an entertaining game for spectators.
Girls Just Want To Have Fun put in a strong team performance against Hot Shots, securing a 15-4 victory. Their passing, movement and communication were key throughout the match as they continued to build confidence together on court.
Catch You Later and On The Attack! also produced a competitive and enjoyable fixture, with Catch You Later narrowly winning 7-5. Both sides showed great energy and commitment throughout the game.
The most valued player of the week award went to Kirsty Binnington from No Turning Back. Her positive attitude, leadership and consistent performance made an important contribution for her team during the evening’s matches.
As the season progresses, the league table is beginning to take shape, with teams continuing to develop and improve each week. With more fixtures still to come, there is plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead at the Kidsgrove Sunday Netball League.
