In a thrilling night of netball, yesterday marked the fourth week of the riveting Kidsgrove Sunday Netball League, with competitors battling it out in the division.
In a high energy face-off, Born To Play emerged victorious against Girls Just Want To Have Fun with a score of 14-8. Despite the loss, Emily Davies from Girls Just Want To Have Fun was the standout performer of the evening, earning the title of Most Valued Player for her exceptional skills and undeniable perseverance throughout the match. Her playstyle was a clear testament to the spirit of the game, proving that even in defeat, one can shine brightly.
The night further heated up as On The Attack! outplayed Catch You Later, securing a resounding 16-5 victory. On The Attack! demonstrated impeccable teamwork and strategic play, leaving the opponents scrambling for points.
In the final match of the League division, No Turning Back and Hot Shots went head to head in a captivating showdown. With both teams giving their all, No Turning Back managed to tip the balance in their favor, clinching a 10-5 victory against Hot Shots.
