As the final whistle blew to mark the culmination of the exhilarating 10-week Kidsgrove Sunday Netball League, spectators were left in awe of the riveting performance of the teams, all in the heat of the athletic battle for supremacy in the League.

Emerging as the undisputed champions of the League , Team Born To Play dominated the field with an impressive total of 20 points and an undefeated streak of 10 wins. Their final match against the fiery Girls Just Want To Have Fun, ended with a score of 18-9, a testament to their unparalleled skills in the sport.

Meanwhile, the League witnessed some high stake matches last night. The Hot Shots faced a stingy defeat against No Turning Back with a final score of 5-14. On The Attack! managed to overpower Catch You Later with a lead of 6-1, keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats throughout the thrilling match.

The highlight of the week, however, was the stellar performance of Emily Davies from Girls Just Want To Have Fun. Despite the team’s loss, Davies emerged as the most valued player of the week, showcasing a brilliant stroke of athleticism and strategy, thereby earning the respect of both her opponents and supporters.

As we bid goodbye to this season of the Kidsgrove Sunday Netball League, the exceptional display of sportsmanship and team spirit leaves us eagerly awaiting the next season starting next week!! Until then, the cheers for the triumphant teams, and the applause for the most valued player, Emily Davies, will continue to echo.
