Play in the Kidderminster Sunday You Play Netball League

Week 9 of the Kidderminster Sunday You Play Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of social netball at Kidderminster – KDYT. Players of all abilities came together for a great night of netball, with every team contributing to the friendly and supportive atmosphere that makes the league so enjoyable each week.

The first match of the evening saw In The Zone take on Nets Go Girl. Both teams started well and produced an entertaining contest, with some excellent teamwork and determination on display throughout. Nets Go Girl secured a 12-8 victory after making the most of their opportunities, while In The Zone continued to battle until the final whistle and showed great commitment from start to finish.

The second fixture featured Throwbusters against Take The Shot. It proved to be another closely contested game, with both teams working hard across the court and creating plenty of good passages of play. Take The Shot came away with a well-earned 12-9 win, but both teams deserve credit for the effort, teamwork and sportsmanship they displayed throughout the match.

Congratulations to this week's Most Valued Player, Prilly Edwards from Seven Sisters. Prilly's excellent work rate, movement around the court and positive attitude earned her this week's MVP award. She made a valuable contribution to her team and was recognised by the umpires for her all-round performance.

It was another successful evening of social netball, with players encouraging one another and enjoying competitive games played in the right spirit. The league continues to provide a fantastic opportunity for both returning and new players to enjoy netball, improve their skills and meet new people in a welcoming environment.
