Week 5 of the Kidderminster Sunday Social Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball action at KDYT, as teams took to the court for a night of competitive fixtures in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Players of all abilities came together to enjoy the game, improve their skills and represent their teams in another successful week of the season.

The first match of the evening saw Nets Go Girl face In The Zone. In The Zone delivered a strong all-round performance, moving the ball confidently through the court and making the most of their scoring opportunities to secure a 16-6 victory. Nets Go Girl continued to work hard throughout the match and showed plenty of determination despite the scoreline. Both teams demonstrated excellent teamwork and sportsmanship, making for an entertaining contest.

The second game featured Take The Shot against Throwbusters. Take The Shot produced an impressive display, combining strong attacking play with solid defensive work to earn a 20-6 win. Throwbusters continued to battle throughout the match and remained positive from start to finish, creating several good opportunities of their own. The game was played in great spirit, with both teams showing the enthusiasm and commitment that have become a hallmark of the league.

One of the highlights of the evening was the positive atmosphere around the courts, with players supporting teammates, encouraging opponents and enjoying the social side of the competition. The Kidderminster Sunday Social Netball League continues to provide a fantastic environment for players to stay active, build confidence and enjoy regular netball with friends and fellow competitors.

A special congratulations goes to this week's Most Valued Player, Sophia De Beer from Nets Go Girl. Sophia's energy, movement and determination stood out throughout the evening, and her positive attitude made a valuable contribution both on and off the court. Her performance earned recognition from teammates and opposition players alike, making her a deserving recipient of the award.

With five weeks of the season now completed, teams are continuing to improve and develop as they gain momentum. Every week brings new challenges, close contests and opportunities for players to build their confidence and enjoy competitive netball in a supportive setting.
