Congratulations to Take the Shot who are this seasons winners and the runners up Throwbusters, also a huge well done to Lauren Common from In the Zone who was crowned this seasons most valued player.

Week 10 of the Kidderminster Sunday You Play Netball League took place at KDYT Sports Complex, with teams returning to the court for another enjoyable evening of social netball. The league continues to provide a welcoming and friendly environment for players of all experience levels, with plenty of teamwork, competitive action and good sportsmanship on display throughout the evening.

The first match of the night saw In The Zone take on Take The Shot. Take The Shot produced a strong performance and secured a 20–3 victory. They worked well as a team, creating scoring opportunities and maintaining their momentum throughout the game. In The Zone continued to work hard and showed determination from start to finish, supporting one another and continuing to battle for every ball. Both teams contributed to an enjoyable game played in the friendly spirit of the league.

The second fixture saw Throwbusters face Seven Sisters in a closely contested match. Neither team was able to gain a clear advantage, with both sides showing good teamwork and commitment throughout the game. The match ended in an 8–8 draw, with the teams sharing the points after an evenly matched performance. Both Throwbusters and Seven Sisters remained positive and worked hard until the final whistle, making it an entertaining game for everyone involved.

A special mention goes to the Most Valued Player of the evening. Their hard work, positive attitude and contribution to their team did not go unnoticed. The award recognises players who support their teammates, show good sportsmanship and make a valuable contribution on court, and this week’s recipient was a deserving winner.

As the season continues, it is great to see teams building confidence, developing their teamwork and enjoying their time on court. The Kidderminster Sunday league is all about providing a fun and social environment where players can stay active, meet new people and enjoy playing netball, regardless of their previous experience.

Looking ahead to Week 11, we are looking forward to another evening of friendly and competitive fixtures. Thank you to everyone who has taken part this season and helped create such a welcoming atmosphere each week. The positive attitude and support shown by all teams continue to make the league an enjoyable place to play.

Congratulations to Take The Shot for leading the league this season. Their consistent performances, teamwork and commitment have helped them set the pace at the top of the table. They have played some excellent netball throughout the season and should be proud of their efforts so far.
