If you have any friends who would like to join the league, get them to sign up and come and join the Sunday afternoon fun too.

It was an encouraging start to the season in the Kidderminster Sunday netball league, with teams delivering positive opening-week performances and setting the tone for the weeks ahead.

In the League, Throwbusters, Nets Be Having Ya, and Seven Sisters all began their campaigns with strong results. Throwbusters earned a 16–4 win over In The Zone, showing good teamwork and consistency throughout the match. In The Zone continued to work hard and will no doubt look to build on this performance next week.

Nets Be Having Ya secured a 9–3 victory against Take The Shot in a well-contested game, demonstrating solid organisation and composure. Seven Sisters also made a confident start with a 13–1 win over Nets Go Girl, putting together some effective passages of play.

A special mention goes to Joanna Tompkins from Take The Shot, who was named Most Valued Player this week. Despite the result, her effort, attitude and skill stood out, highlighting her importance to the team.

With the season just getting underway, there is plenty of time for all teams to develop and grow. The Kidderminster Sunday netball league promises a friendly, competitive and enjoyable campaign, and we look forward to seeing how the table shapes up in the coming weeks.
