What a delightful evening we had at John Ferneley College for Week 6 of our social netball season! Players of all experience levels came together for an evening filled with camaraderie, teamwork and a generous helping of friendly competition. As the sun set, the court came alive with laughter, cheers, and the familiar thud of the netball bouncing on the tarmac.

The first match of the evening saw Melton Mavericks and Pie-Fect Pass come together. The game ended with Melton Mavericks securing a score of 10-3. It was an enjoyable game, played in a spirit of mutual respect and camaraderie.

The Mowbos and Never Give Up took to the court next, impressing the onlookers with their sportsmanship and fair play. The Mowbos ended the game with a score of 12-4, though the valiant efforts of Never Give Up were appreciated by all.

Give Us A Shot and In Formation treated us to an exciting match, with Give Us A Shot finishing the game with a score of 5-4. Both teams displayed impressive teamwork, and the commitment to the game was palpable

Next up we saw Total Meltdown and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun come together. It was a game full of energy and positivity, with Girls Just Wanna Have Fun joyously finishing with a score of 11-9. Both teams showcased remarkable teamwork and commitment, truly embracing the spirit of the game.

The final match of the evening was a truly balanced match, The Fun Bunch and Rule Breakers tied with a score of 7-7. The game was played in great spirit, and both teams were commended for their positive energy and sportsmanship.

A special mention to our Most Valued Player of the week, Nina Dyer from In Formation. Her enthusiasm and agility on the court were infectious, and her positive contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to Week 7, we're excited for another evening of friendly social netball. It's about more than just the game - it's about staying active, meeting new people, and developing our netball skills in a supportive, uplifting environment. It's not about who wins or loses - it's about coming together as a community, sharing in the love of the game and creating lasting memories. Join us next week for another fun-filled evening!
