What a delightful evening it was last Tuesday at John Ferneley College! Week 4 of the social netball season was marked with laughter, camaraderie, and some fantastic displays of sportsmanship. Regardless of experience level, everyone enjoyed a great night of netball, encapsulated by a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The first match saw Give Us A Shot and Never Give Up take to the court, with Give Us A Shot narrowly winning 7-6. The match was filled with the spirit of friendly competition and a shared respect among all players.

In Formation then faced off against Rule Breakers, with the final score standing at 19-2 in favour of In Formation. Despite the gap in scores, the game was filled with smiles and everyone's love for the sport was evident.

Next up were Total Meltdown and The Fun Bunch, with Total Meltdown finishing the game ahead 14-4. Sportsmanship was the real winner in this match, as both teams exhibited enthusiasm and respect for one another.

Then, Melton Mavericks faced Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, with the Girls finishing with an exciting score of 14-4. Both teams played with such passion, proving that the game was about more than just the final score.

The last match of the night saw Pie-Fect Pass and The Mowbos display remarkable teamwork and commitment. The game concluded with Pie-Fect Pass edging out their opponents with a score of 5-4, a testament to the evenly matched teams. Their positive energy and sportsmanship were infectious, making for an enjoyable game played in great spirit.

A special mention must be made for the Most Valued Player of the week, Chloe Wright from The Fun Bunch. Her enthusiasm and movement around the court were unparalleled, and her positive contribution was appreciated by both teammates and opponents alike.

As we eagerly look ahead to Week 5, we're reminded of the joy of friendly social netball - keeping active, meeting new people, and developing our netball skills in a supportive environment. We can't wait for the next evening of fun and friendship on the court. Back to Netball, everyone!
