John Ferneley College was buzzing last Tuesday with the excitement of Week 3 in the social netball season. A mix of experienced and novice players came together in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, sharing in the joy of the game, demonstrating resilience and sportsmanship, and enjoying a fabulous evening of social netball.

Rule Breakers and The Mowbos played a very closely contested match that could have gone either way. The final score was 8-7 in favour of Rule Breakers. The match was highlighted by excellent teamwork and an abundance of positive energy from both sides.

Total Meltdown and Give Us A Shot provided a lively game that finished with a score of 8-6 in favour of Give Us A Shot. The game was played in great spirit, with each team showing a strong commitment to the game and a high level of sportsmanship.

Pie-Fect Pass and Never Give Up played an exhilarating game that ended with Pie-Fect Pass scoring 10 to Never Give Up's 2. The commitment and positive energy on display were a testament to the spirit of the game, with both teams showing great teamwork and enjoying the match.

Following this, In Formation and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun faced each other in an engaging match. Despite the scoreline favoring Girls Just Wanna Have Fun at 11-7, both teams exhibited admirable sportsmanship and determination, creating an enjoyable atmosphere on the court.

Finally, the match between Melton Mavericks and The Fun Bunch ended with a score of 7-6 in favour of Melton Mavericks. Both teams demonstrated tremendous teamwork and sheer joy for the game.

A special mention this week goes to the Most Valued Player, Evie Garner from In Formation, who displayed exceptional enthusiasm, smooth movement around the court and made a positive contribution to her team that was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.
