Tuesday night at John Ferneley College was buzzing with excitement, laughter, fitness, sportsmanship and an air of camaraderie as Week 2 of the social netball season got underway. The welcoming atmosphere was infectious with players of all experience levels taking to the court, displaying their skills and enthusiasm.

In the first match of the evening, In Formation played against The Fun Bunch. Both teams displayed great commitment and sportsmanship. In Formation concluded the game with 16 points, while The Fun Bunch gathered 7. Regardless of scores, both teams left the court smiling and looking forward to their next match.

Next up, Pie-Fect Pass and Give Us A Shot thrilled the spectators with their great display of teamwork. Pie-Fect Pass ended the match with a score of 2, whilst Give Us A Shot had a tally of 20. Each point scored was celebrated with cheers and applause, embodying the spirit of social netball.

The friendly match between The Mowbos and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun was a delight to watch. The Mowbos scored 3 while Girls Just Wanna Have Fun achieved 18. The game was played with great spirit and displayed the essence of social netball.

Rule Breakers and Never Give Up brought a wave of positive energy to the court. Rule Breakers scored 2 and Never Give Up finished with 4. The game was a heartening example of sportsmanship, with encouragement flowing freely from both sides.

The last game of the evening was between Total Meltdown and Melton Mavericks, scoring 15 and 9 respectively. The game was filled with laughter, high fives and players encouraging each other, truly encapsulating the spirit of the evening.

A special mention must go to the Most Valued Player of the week, Kristy Nicholls from Pie-Fect Pass. Kristy's enthusiasm and movement around the court did not go unnoticed. Her positive contribution was highly appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

Looking ahead to Week 3, we can't wait to see everyone back on the court for another evening of friendly social netball. It's the perfect opportunity to stay active, meet new people and develop your netball skills in a supportive environment. So, let's keep the spirit high and the passes flying!
