What a delightful evening it was at the John Ferneley College last Tuesday! Week 18 of social netball brought players of all experience levels together, filling the courts with an inviting atmosphere and a shared love for the game. The matches were as enjoyable as always, with everyone bringing their A-game, displaying teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship, all while maintaining the positive energy that this club is known for.

The final week of the Melton Mowbray Tuesday Netball season was brought to a close, with In Formation finishing top after a consistent run of performances. They ended the season with 34 points and 17 wins.

The match between Pie-Fect Pass and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun saw some excellent ball movement and coordination. Both teams displayed strong teamwork, with Girls Just Wanna Have Fun finishing on a high note with a score of 8 to Pie-Fect Pass's 2.

Melton Mavericks and Rule Breakers played a spirited game that truly encapsulated the fun, friendly essence of social netball. The Mavericks enjoyed a final score of 9, while Rule Breakers added 3 to their tally.

In the game between Never Give Up and The Fun Bunch, both teams showcased their commitment and positive energy. The Fun Bunch ended the match with 21 while Never Give Up secured 4.

In Formation and The Mowbos brought their usual enthusiasm to the court. In Formation finished the match with a commendable 21 points, and The Mowbos, not to be outdone, finished with 3.

The match between Give Us A Shot and Total Meltdown was a joy to watch, with both teams demonstrating a true spirit of sportsmanship. Give Us A Shot finished the game with 12, while Total Meltdown rounded off the evening with 7.

This week, a special mention goes to Rebecca Sellars from Pie-Fect Pass. Her enthusiasm, movement around the court, and positive contributions were appreciated by teammates and opponents alike. Congratulations, Rebecca!
