What a simply splendid evening we experienced at John Ferneley College, as the 17th week of our social netball season unfolded. Players of all experience levels, from novice to more seasoned, came together in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed an amazing night of netball under the stars!

The first match of the evening saw Total Meltdown and Give Us A Shot start the evening with an exciting match. Give Us A Shot ended with a score of 12-4, but Total Meltdown never let their spirits drop, playing with positivity and a "never say die" attitude till the very end.

Next up were Rule Breakers and Melton Mavericks sharing the court. The game ended with the Rule Breakers having scored 10 goals to the Mavericks' 9. It was a close one that highlighted the determination and teamwork from both sides. The commitment to fair play and the positive energy radiating from both teams made it a real joy to watch!

Next up were The Fun Bunch and Never Give Up. The Fun Bunch finished the game with a score of 29-5. Every player on both teams played with such spirit and sportsmanship that the scoreline is but a footnote. Their energy and camaraderie transformed the game into a fun-filled spectacle to remember.

Then The Mowbos and In Formation, ending with a score of 15-7 in favour of In Formation. The Mowbos showed great movement and coordination, while In Formation demonstrated excellent teamwork. It was an enjoyable match where everyone played with great spirit.

A special shoutout goes to our Most Valued Player of the week, Jennifer Blackley from The Mowbos. Jennifer's enthusiasm and movement around the court were truly inspiring. Her positive contribution was appreciated by her teammates and opponents alike, who admired her dynamic play and infectious energy.

As we look forward to Week 18, we anticipate another enjoyable evening of friendly social netball. We can't wait to see everyone back on the court, keeping active, meeting new people, and developing their netball skills in our supportive environment. Here's to another night filled with positivity, fair play, and the love of the game!
