Melton Mowbray Tuesday Netball - Week 13

On a lovely Tuesday evening, Week 13 of social netball unfolded in the welcoming environment of John Ferneley College. The scene buzzed with positive energy as both seasoned players and new faces came together to enjoy an exhilarating evening of netball. It was not just about the scores, but about the camaraderie, sportsmanship, and shared love for the game that truly set the mood for the evening.

The evening started off with the game between Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and The Fun Bunch. The score ended at 12-10 as both teams displayed incredible teamwork and determination. Regardless of the score, both teams left the court with high spirits and evident enjoyment from the game.

Next on the court were The Mowbos and Rule Breakers with a final score of 8-3. The passion and commitment shown by both teams were second to none, and the positive energy was palpable, making it a commendable game to witness.

Following this, Give Us A Shot and Melton Mavericks took to the court. The match finished 7-4 in favor of Give Us A Shot, although the Melton Mavericks showed great resilience throughout.

And finally, In Formation squared off against Never Give Up. The game ended with a score of 23-8, with both teams showcasing exceptional sportsmanship and tenacity.

A special mention must go to the Most Valued Player of the week, Alexis Bradley from Melton Mavericks. Alexis's enthusiasm and impressive movement around the court did not go unnoticed, her positive contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look ahead to Week 14, we are all excited about another evening of friendly social netball. The focus stays on keeping active, meeting new people, and developing our netball skills in the most supportive and positive environment.
