Melton Mowbray Tuesday Netball Update 3rd March

In the riveting 12th week of the Melton Mowbray Tuesday Netball, teams showcased a series of heart-stopping matches that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. With just two weeks remaining in the season, the competition is heating up as teams jostle for the top spots.

In a captivating match, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun emerged victorious over the Rule Breakers with a score of 8-3. Their relentless offence and tight defence proved too much for the Rule Breakers. In another game, The Fun Bunch displayed a superb performance, beating Never Give Up 5-1. The Fun Bunch’s tactics and teamwork were evident in their play.

However, the highlight of the evening was the thrilling match between The Mowbos and In Formation. Despite the best efforts of Georgia Freckingham, who was named the most valuable player of the week, The Mowbos succumbed to In Formation, 11-14. Freckingham's impressive skills were on full display, earning her the coveted MVP title for the week while playing for The Mowbos.

In the closest match of the evening, Total Meltdown faced off against Give Us A Shot. In a nail-biting finish, Give Us A Shot triumphed over Total Meltdown, clinching a 5-4 victory.

With only two weeks left of the season, the stakes have never been higher.

As the season draws to a close, the top scorers are yet to be announced. Regardless of the result, each team has displayed tremendous sportsmanship, and the Melton Mowbray Tuesday Netball continues to be a testament to the spirit of the game.
