Melton Mowbray Tuesday Netball Update 2nd December

In the thrilling first week of the new season of Melton Mowbray Tuesday, Premier League Netball, fans were treated to a feast of sporting action. The excitement was palpable as the crowd cheered on their favourite teams. 

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun barely edged out Total Meltdown with a narrow score of 8-7 in a gripping match that had spectators on the edge of their seats until the final whistle. Their performance was led by none other than Siobhan Whitehouse, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Whitehouse's tactical gameplay and agile manoeuvring played an instrumental role in the team's victory. 

The tight competition continued as The Mowbos managed to squeeze a 4-3 victory over Give Us A Shot, our new team. The match was a testament to the competitive spirit as both teams put up an incredible fight.

Meanwhile, In Formation eked out a win against The Fun Bunch with a 15-14 scoreline in an action-packed game that came down to the wire. It was a night of high drama as the Rule Breakers beat Never Give Up with a 12-1 victory, marking the highest scoring match of the night.

The first week of the season certainly set the stage for an exciting season ahead. We are poised for more thrilling encounters, and fans can expect even more heart-stopping moments in the coming weeks.
