The final week of the Melton Mowbray Tuesday Netball season was brought to a close, with Girls Just Wanna Have Fun finishing top after a consistent run of performances.
They ended the season with 28 points and 14 wins, and signed off with a 16–9 victory over In Formation. It was a strong finish that confirmed their place at the top of the table.
Elsewhere in the division, Give Us A Shot recorded an 8–3 win against Never Give Up, while Total Meltdown secured a 9–4 victory over Rule Breakers. The Mowbos also finished on a positive note with a 6–3 win over The Fun Bunch.
Mollie Ellis of The Mowbos was named Most Valued Player for the night, recognised for her consistent performances and contribution to her team throughout the league.
It has been an enjoyable and competitive season, with all teams showing commitment and improvement along the way. As the season comes to an end, teams will now look ahead to the next one, ready to continue building and enjoying their netball.
