Melton Mowbray Tuesday Netball Update 14th April

Another enjoyable week of netball unfolded in the Melton Mowbray Tuesday netball, with teams taking to the court for a closely contested round of action.

The evening began with Rule Breakers meeting Give Us A Shot in a tight encounter. Both teams showed great organisation and teamwork, with Give Us A Shot just managing to secure a 3–2 victory in a game that highlighted how evenly matched the sides are.

Next up, The Fun Bunch faced Total Meltdown in a well-balanced and engaging match. With both sides exchanging the lead, it was Total Meltdown who edged ahead to take a narrow 6–5 win. The Fun Bunch can take plenty of positives from the game, including an outstanding performance from Donna Williams, who was deservedly named Most Valued Player for the week thanks to her skill, determination, and all-round play.

As the season continues, it’s great to see teams growing in confidence and competitiveness each week. With strong performances across the board and players like Donna Williams making a real impact, there’s plenty to look forward to as the season develops.
