Sports enthusiasts witnessed the resurgence of competitive spirit as the Houlton, Rugby Wednesday Netball League kick-started its latest season. It was a thrilling first week with teams battling it out in their respective divisions.

In Division 1, some standout performances were seen, marking a promising start to the season. Skittles and Christine's Crew were among the teams that kicked off the competition. The match was a spectacle of team coordination and skills, ending with Christine's Crew marking a decisive victory with a score of 20 over Skittles’ 8 points. The latter's performance, despite the loss, was noteworthy, especially with Danielle from Skittles being named the most valued player.

Another exciting face-off in Division 1 was between Hula Hoops and Hopscotch, with the latter emerging victorious with 8 points against the former's 5. Both teams showed great potential, promising an exciting season ahead. Well played to MVP for this match, Shannon from Hula Hoops.
