Week 5 of the season brought an evening of lively camaraderie and spirited play at Hinckley Leisure Centre for Hinckley Sunday. A mixed bouquet of players, both seasoned and novice, engaged in a delightful night of social netball. The court buzzed with an engaging atmosphere, as players showcased their skills and shared their love for this phenomenal sport.

In the first match of the evening, Shoot Happens and Pink Ladies! demonstrated exceptional teamwork. The Pink Ladies! finished with a score of 30-1, yet both teams exhibited a commendable sense of sportsmanship, supporting both their team members and opponents.

Next up were Netchicks Season 2 and Shooting Stars. With a close score of 9-5, Netchicks Season 2 exhibited a strong display of resilience. Both teams radiated positive energy throughout the game, making it a joy to watch.

The game between Phoenix Flyers and Burbage Ballers was a testament to the commitment and fortitude of our players. Phoenix Flyers ended the match with a score of 16-12, however, each team’s spirit and enthusiasm held throughout the game, regardless of the score.

Nets Get Into The Groove and Pitch Slaps lit up the court with their vibrancy. Pitch Slaps ended the game with a score of 19-2, yet what stood out was the strong sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship exhibited by both teams.

The match between Shoot For It and Warrior Queens was played with great gusto. It was a night full of fun and learning for Shoot For It as they ended the game with a score of 6-1.

The final match of the evening was between Hit Me With Your Best Shot and Flames. Flames scored 25-10, but the game was truly memorable for the high spirits and friendly banter between both teams.

A special mention goes out to Samantha Skee from Hit Me With Your Best Shot. Samantha's enthusiasm and remarkable movement around the court caught everyone's attention. Her positive contribution, both on and off the court, was greatly appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.
