Play in the Hinckley Sunday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

As the sun set on another lovely weekend, the Hinckley Leisure Centre buzzed with excitement, hosting an enjoyable evening of social netball for Week 4 of the season. The welcoming atmosphere was palpable as players of all experience levels laced up their trainers and tied their bibs, ready to enjoy a great night of netball.

The first match saw Hit Me With Your Best Shot and Pitch Slaps sharing an energetic game. Final whistle saw a score of 23-2, with Pitch Slaps having had a great game. Both teams showed immense teamwork, commitment and sportsmanship, making it a thoroughly enjoyable encounter.

Shoot For It then took to the court against Burbage Ballers, with a final score of 25-4 in favour of Burbage Ballers. The match was a showcase of positive energy and dedication from both teams, played in the best of spirits.

As the evening progressed, Nets Get Into The Groove and Shooting Stars provided another spectacle, ending in a score of 27-6 to the Shooting Stars. The game was a testament to the friendly and supportive environment that is the cornerstone of social netball.

Netchicks Season 2 and Phoenix Flyers then took center stage, with Phoenix Flyers finishing the game with a score of 18-8. Both teams displayed excellent teamwork and camaraderie, making it a truly enjoyable match.

The Pink Ladies! and Flames next took to the court, wrapping up with a score of 17-11 to the Flames. This match was filled with amazing teamwork and a lot of laughter, perfectly illustrating why we all love netball.

The final game of the evening was between Shoot Happens and Warrior Queens, ending with a score of 10-7, with the Warrior Queens finishing on top. Both teams played with enthusiasm and dedication, making it a great game to watch.

A special shout-out goes to our Most Valued Player of the week, Maddie Dakin from Shoot Happens. Maddie's enthusiasm, great movement around the court, and positive contribution did not go unnoticed by her teammates and opponents alike.

Looking ahead, we can hardly wait for Week 5 and the next evening of friendly social netball. We look forward to another night of staying active, meeting new people, and developing our netball skills in this wonderful, supportive environment.
