What a lovely evening of friendly competition and camaraderie it was at the Hinckley Leisure Centre! This marked the third week of social netball, gathering individuals of different skill levels to share in their passion for the sport. The welcoming atmosphere was palpable as both seasoned and novice players came together for an enjoyable night of netball.

In the first match, Hit Me With Your Best Shot beautifully showcased their cooperation and sportsmanship against Shooting Stars, wrapping up the game with a score of 2-23. Despite the final numbers, the game was full of positive energy and was played in a great spirit.

In a similar vein, Shoot For It and Phoenix Flyers tested their coordination and teamwork. The final score stood at 4-18, but the real victory was in the lively and friendly competition between the teams.

The match-up between Netchicks Season 2 and Nets Get Into The Groove was a testament to the power of commitment and mutual respect. The final score settled at 15-11, with both teams showing their dedication to the sport.

Flames and Warrior Queens ended their game with Flames slightly ahead at 10-9. Both teams displayed immense respect for each other, playing a game that was as much about friendship as it was about netball.

Pink Ladies! and Pitch Slaps demonstrated the essence of social netball - fun, fitness, and friendship. They finished their match at 5-7, leaving the court with smiles and high-fives.

Shoot Happens and Burbage Ballers played an exciting and friendly game, culminating with a 5-32 score. The focus was on the enjoyment of the game, demonstrating the essence of social netball.

A special mention goes out to the Most Valued Player of the week - Jasmine Ellames from the Phoenix Flyers. Jasmine's enthusiasm and movement around the court were a joy to behold. Her positive contributions were appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to Week 4, we can’t wait for another evening of friendly social netball at Hinckley Leisure Centre. The focus remains on staying active, meeting new people, and further developing netball skills in a supportive environment.
