Play in the Hinckley Sunday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

It was an evening brimming with camaraderie and spirited competition as Hinckley Leisure Centre played host to the second week of our social netball season. The Centre was effervescent, echoing with playful banter, laughter, and the unified cheers of teammates. Whether they were beginners or seasoned veterans, all participants found a place in this welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

Our first game of the evening saw Shoot Happens take on Phoenix Flyers. With the final whistle, the Phoenix Flyers finished with an impressive scoreline of 20-1. Both teams exhibited unwavering commitment and stellar teamwork, which was a joy to behold.

Next, we had a lively match between Pink Ladies! and Shooting Stars. The game concluded with Shooting Stars scoring 22 to Pink Ladies' 12. Despite the cold weather, the energy and sportsmanship on display were heartwarming.

Burbage Ballers and Flames took to the court next in an incredibly fun and dynamic game. Burbage Ballers ended with a score of 20-15, but both teams were brimming with positive energy and enthusiasm.

In the penultimate game, Warrior Queens faced Pitch Slaps, ending the match with a score of 15-8. Each team demonstrated great spirit, commitment, and camaraderie, making it a thoroughly enjoyable game to watch.

The final match of the evening had Netchicks Season 2 up against Shoot For It, concluding with a score of 20-4 in favour of Netchicks Season 2. This game was played in great spirit, with both teams displaying good sportsmanship and dedication to the game.

A special mention must go to our Most Valued Player of the week, Bethany McCauley from Nets Get Into The Groove. Bethany's enthusiasm, agility and positive contribution both on and off the court did not go unnoticed. Her performance was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.
