Play in the Hinckley Sunday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

As the sun set on Hinckley Leisure Centre, players of all experience levels poured into the court for a fantastic Week 5 of our social netball season. The evening was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a genuine love for the game, creating an atmosphere that was both warm and welcoming.

In the Division 1 group, Phoenix Flyers and Burbage Ballers brought their A-game to the court, filling the air with exhilarating energy. The game concluded with Burbage Ballers leading with a score of 10 against the valiant Phoenix Flyers who finished with 8. The game was a testimony to true teamwork, commitment, and an enduring sportsmanship that was felt by all who watched.

The match between Netchicks Season 2 and the Shooting Stars, also from Division 1, was equally thrilling. The Netchicks ended the game with 15 points while the Shooting Stars were right on their heels with 14 points. This close game was a testament to the positive energy and spirit that keeps this league vibrant and exciting.

Division 2's match between Pitch Slaps and Hit Me with Your Best Shot ended with a score of 6-5, favouring Pitch Slaps. The Pink Ladies! and Shoot For It took to the court with a final score of 10-8, with Pink Ladies! taking the lead. The game ended with an outpour of applause for both teams as they played with remarkable spirit. Effort and enthusiasm were the order of the day, and it couldn't have been more enjoyable.

A special mention goes to the Most Valued Player of the week, Nicola Hall from Phoenix Flyers. Nicola's tireless movement around the court, positive attitude and exceptional contribution were noticed and appreciated by her teammates and opponents alike.

As we look ahead to Week 6, we eagerly anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. It's an exciting opportunity to keep active, meet new people, and develop our netball skills in an environment that encourages growth and teamwork.
