Hinckley Sunday Night Netball - Week 4 of the season
In the thrilling week 4 of the Hinckley Sunday Netball league, the League division witnessed some intense and high-energy matches. The eight teams showed their tenacity and skill in the competitive fixtures, bringing the spectators to the edge of their seats.
In the first match of the evening, Burbage Ballers faced Phoenix Flyers. In a hotly contested encounter, the Phoenix Flyers edged out the Ballers, securing a close 21 to 18 victory. This win has certainly boosted the morale of the Flyers, who pushed their limits to overcome a strong rival.
The Shooting Stars lived up to their name, shooting their way to a massive 23-4 win over Pitch Slaps. The Stars proved to be too much for the Slaps, demonstrating their attacking prowess and establishing their dominance in the League.
Warrior Queens took on the Pink Ladies! in another captivating league game. The Queens showed their warrior spirit, overcoming the Ladies with a 15-8 triumph, making their intent clear in the league.
The final face-off of the night was between Flames and Netchicks Season 2. In a nail-biting fixture, the Netchicks just managed to sneak past Flames with a hard-fought 17-15 victory.
The standout player of the week was Claire Cousin from the Pink Ladies! Despite her team's defeat, Cousin displayed incredible sportsmanship and skill, demonstrating why she is one of the leading figures in the division.
The top scorers for the division were the Shooting Stars, with a massive 23 goals. This haul has cemented their place as a force to be reckoned with in the League.
