In an electrifying conclusion to the Hinckley Sunday Netball League, the Shooting Stars have emerged as the champions of the League, marking the end of a thrilling 14-week sports spectacle.

The Shooting Stars demonstrated their prowess on the court last night, clinching a 16-8 victory against Netchicks Season 2. Notably, their extraordinary performance throughout the season has seen them secure a total of 22 points and 11 wins, which ultimately propelled them to the pinnacle of the League.

In other mesmerising matches of the night, the Phoenix Flyers edged out the Warrior Queens in a nail-biting contest, logging a close 9-8 win. The Burbage Ballers also left their mark on the league's final week, besting the Flames 16-7. Finally, Pitch Slaps, living up to their reputation, triumphed over Pink Ladies!, with a final score of 14-7.

Yet, amidst these high-octane battles, one player stood out from the rest. Claire McDonagh from the Warrior Queens was awarded the most valued player of the week. Despite her team's narrow loss, McDonagh's performance was a testament to her skill and tenacity, and a tribute to the competitive spirit of the league.
