Play in the Rugby Thursday Netball League powered by You Play Netball

Week 1 of the highly anticipated Rugby Thursday  Netball League kicked off last night, and it did not disappoint. Fans and players alike were treated to high-intensity, competitive netball that has set the tone for the rest of the season.

In the League division, The Rebels began their season with a narrow victory against Queens, edging them out 7-5 in a nail-biting game. The Rebels showcased a brilliant defensive display, holding off Queens' persistent attempts to close the gap.

Meanwhile, the Hotsteppers showed why they are one of the teams to watch this season with a dominant performance against Blaze. The final score of 24-7 reflected the Hotsteppers' impressive teamwork and unyielding offense.

In another League clash, Phoenix rose from the ashes to defeat the Court Queens 15-9. Phoenix demonstrated a well-organized attack and solid defense throughout the game, setting them up nicely for the battles to come.

As the season has just started, it's still all to play for in the League division. The Rebels, Hotsteppers, and Phoenix have set the early pace, but with the skill and sheer competitiveness on display, it's anyone’s game.

The top scores of the opening night came as no surprise. Hotsteppers took the lead in the Premier League division, thanks to their offensive powerhouse.
