Week 5 of the Market Drayton Monday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with teams coming together for some great games in the Premier League division. Now moving into the middle of the season, it was fantastic to see so much energy, teamwork, and skill on display across the court.

The evening began with Dynamo Queens taking on Sensational Sisters. Sensational Sisters put in a strong performance and came away with a 16-6 win. Dynamo Queens showed plenty of determination throughout the match and will no doubt be looking forward to building on this in the coming weeks.

The second game saw Monday Madness face Net Gains in another lively fixture. Both teams played with great spirit, but Monday Madness edged ahead to secure a 13-8 victory. It was a match full of excellent movement, accurate shooting, and solid defending from both sides.

This week’s Premier League Player of the Week recognition went to Michelle Williams from The Untouchables. Although her team did not play this week, Michelle’s outstanding efforts in previous matches earned her this well-deserved mention. Her consistency, teamwork, and leadership continue to make a positive impact in the league.

As we head into the second half of the season, it’s great to see all teams continuing to develop and enjoy their netball each week. Sensational Sisters and Monday Madness both had strong outings this week, but every team is contributing to a fantastic atmosphere and a great season so far.
