Market Drayton Monday Netball – Week 13 Round-Up

It was another great evening of netball at the Market Drayton Monday League, with plenty of laughs, teamwork and feel-good moments on court in Week 13.

In the Premier Division, The Untouchables and Sensational Sisters played out a really close and entertaining game. It was a fantastic match to watch, with both teams supporting each other and keeping spirits high throughout. The Untouchables just edged it 9–8 in the end, but it truly could have gone either way – a brilliant effort from everyone involved.

A special shoutout goes to Sensational Sisters’ Poppy Roberts, who was named Player of the Week. Poppy had a standout game, showing great movement, accuracy and encouragement for her teammates. Even in a narrow loss, her positivity and energy really summed up what the league is all about.

We’re still waiting on the top scorer details, but with the enthusiasm and effort on display each week, it’s clear everyone is giving it their all and enjoying their Monday evenings on court.

Week 13 was another reminder that this league is about more than just the scoreline – it’s about getting active, seeing friends and starting the week with a smile. We can’t wait to see everyone back for more fun next Monday!
