Stoke-on-Trent Thursday Update 16th April

Right in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent, the Thursday Netball continues to bring energy and excitement to the local sports scene with teams delivering another evening full of competitive and entertaining matchups.

Stoke Storm continued their strong run with a 20–5 win over The Swans, maintaining their place at the top of the table. The Swans, however, had plenty to be proud of—Stephanie Brook delivered a standout performance, earning a well-deserved Most Valuable Player award for the week and showcasing great determination on court.

Elsewhere, Game Of Throws put in a confident performance to secure a 20–8 victory against Cherry Bombs. Flames also impressed with an 18–6 win over Hotshots, while Wildcats rounded off the evening with a solid 20–4 result against Netbrawlers.

Week by week, the teams continue to show great commitment, skill, and teamwork, making every match enjoyable to watch. With plenty of the season still ahead, the competition remains wide open and full of potential.

While some results didn’t go everyone’s way this time, there were strong individual and team performances across the board, highlighting the depth of talent. With more matches to come, there’s lots to look forward to as the Stoke-on-Trent Thursday Netball continues to unfold.
