The final week of the Stoke-on-Trent Thursday Netball brought the season to a close with another evening of competitive and enjoyable matches. Week 18 marked the conclusion of a memorable campaign, with teams giving their all on court.
Cherry Bombs and Netbrawlers played out a closely contested match, with Cherry Bombs narrowly securing a 10–9 win. Game Of Throws recorded a 27–9 result against Trent Tricksters, while Stoke Storm claimed a 6–3 victory over Pottery Pivoters in a tightly played game. The Swans also enjoyed a positive result, defeating Hotshots 9–5.
Over the course of the season, Team Hotshots consistently performed well and finished at the top with 14 wins and 29 points. Their teamwork and commitment throughout the season were key to their success.
We also celebrated this week’s Most Valued Player, Zoe Wilbourne of Trent Tricksters. Zoe delivered an impressive performance on court and was recognised for her skill and effort during the game.
As the season comes to an end, it’s been great to see the enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship shown by all teams involved. Thank you to everyone who took part, and we look forward to another exciting season ahead.
