In another lively week of the Stoke-on-Trent Thursday Netball, teams put on a great display of teamwork, skill and determination during their Week 8 match-ups.
Cherry Bombs delivered an energetic performance to secure a 14–10 win over Flames. With sharp attacking play and a well-organised defence, they kept the pressure on throughout and earned a well-deserved victory.
Wildcats also impressed, putting in a confident showing to overcome Game of Throws 18–6. Their strong teamwork and consistent play helped them maintain control and create plenty of scoring opportunities.
Despite a tough result, Trent Tricksters had a standout moment of their own. Chloe Seadon was named Player of the Week following a brilliant individual performance in their match against Hotshots which saw the Hotshots win 20-5. Her movement, awareness and effort on court made a real impact and didn’t go unnoticed.
Swans and Netbrawlers treated spectators to a closely contested game, with Swans edging ahead 11–7. Both sides showed great defensive work and commitment, making it an enjoyable and competitive fixture.
With another week of exciting matches completed, the Stoke-on-Trent Thursday Netball continues to highlight the very best of local netball. There’s plenty more to look forward to as teams build momentum heading into the next round of fixtures—stay tuned!
