Week 3 of the Stoke-on-Trent Thursday Netball brought another evening of competitive matches, with teams continuing to settle into the season and build their form.
Cherry Bombs recorded a 16–1 win over Trent Tricksters, showing consistent play throughout the match. Wildcats also put in a solid performance, securing a 19–13 victory against The Swans in a well-contested game.
Flames delivered a strong performance against Stoke Storm, finishing with a 30–1 win. Despite the result, Stoke Storm’s Jayne Grindey was named Most Valued Player of the week, recognised for her effort and contribution on court.
Netbrawlers also had a positive result, earning a 15–5 win over Hotshots with a steady team performance.
As the season continues, teams will be looking to build on their performances and improve with each game. With more matches ahead, there are plenty of opportunities for teams to develop and enjoy the competition in the coming weeks.
