Her efforts were recognised as she was named the league’s Most Valuable Player for the week, highlighting her positive contribution on court.
In another match, The Flames secured a 15–10 victory over Trent Tricksters after a competitive game. Both teams worked hard across the court, providing plenty of good passages of play.
The Swans and Game Of Throws also produced one of the closer contests of the evening. After a well-fought match, The Swans edged the result 16–13.
Hotshots enjoyed a strong start to their campaign with a 25–2 win against Stoke Storm, while Netbrawlers picked up a 13–3 victory over Pottery Pivoters in another solid performance. Despite the loss, both Stoke Storm and Pottery Pivoters showed great effort and had fun with both teams showing great promise for the coming games.
