Play in the Dudley Tuesday netball league powered by You Play Netball

The ninth week of the social netball season at Ellowes Hall Sports College, Dudley, was a delightful affair, filled with laughter, camaraderie, and some great netball action. The welcoming atmosphere fostered a sense of community amongst players of various experience levels, all of whom were united by their love for the game.

In the first match of the Premier League, Velocity and Tangtastics showcased their teamwork and commitment. Tangtastics wrapped up the game with a score of 34-2. Despite the score, Velocity kept the positive energy high and showcased their sportsmanship throughout the match, which was played in great spirit.

The next game saw Goal Diggers square off against Super Troopers. Super Troopers, with their infectious enthusiasm, finished the match with a 21-1 score. True to their name, Goal Diggers showed great resolve and their spirit remained unbroken, creating an enjoyable game for all present.

The final match of the evening was a vibrant contest between Pink Ladies and Pocket Rockets. Pocket Rockets ended the match with a score of 25-7. Pink Ladies displayed a stellar level of sportsmanship and team spirit, which contributed to the joyous atmosphere.

Our Most Valued Player of the week was Diane Parsons from Super Troopers. Her enthusiasm and dynamism were evident in her movement around the court. Diane's positive contribution was not only appreciated by her teammates but also noticed by her opponents. Her love for the game truly shone through, making her a deserving recipient of this honor.

As we look ahead to Week 10, we eagerly anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. Our focus remains on keeping active, meeting new people, and developing our netball skills in a supportive environment. So, whether you're a seasoned player or picking up a netball for the first time, we hope to see you there! Here's to another wonderful week of embracing the spirit of netball.
