Play in the Dudley Tuesday netball league powered by You Play Netball

The fifth week of the social netball season at Ellowes Hall Sports College was a delightful medley of camaraderie and good-natured competition. The welcoming atmosphere was palpable as players of varied experience levels teamed up for an evening full of action, sportsmanship, and enjoyment. The air was filled with laughter, cheers, and the friendly banter that embodies the spirit of the Back to Netball initiative.

In the first match of the evening, the Dudley Dynamos and Goal Diggers took to the court. The Dynamos, moving together like a well-oiled machine, finished the game with a score of 17-2. Both teams displayed an admirable sense of teamwork and commitment, making the game a truly enjoyable experience for all involved.

Next, Velocity and Pink Ladies faced off in a match full of positive energy. Pink Ladies managed to edge ahead, ending the match with an impressive 19-2 score. Despite the score difference, both teams exuded sportsmanship and kept up a cheerful atmosphere throughout the game.

Up next was a lively encounter between The Terri-balls and the Pocket Rockets with The Terri-balls putting on a great performance to finish at 26-4. The game was a wonderful display of sportsmanship, with both teams applauding each other’s great plays.

Finally, the Tangtastics and Super Troopers squared off in a game that ended 17-10 in favour of the Tangtastics. The game was full of great spirit, and it was clear that all players enjoyed every moment of the friendly competition.

A special mention must go to Dulcie Calleia from The Terri-balls, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Dulcie's enthusiasm was infectious, her movement around the court was exceptional and her positive contribution to the game was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to Week 6, we can't wait for the next evening of friendly social netball. It's all about staying active, meeting new people, and developing your netball skills in a supportive and fun environment.
