What a delightful evening we had last Tuesday at Ellowes Hall Sports College for Week 2 of our social netball season! The atmosphere was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and good-natured competition, as players of all experience levels took to the court. It truly was a great night of netball, underlining the spirit of our friendly community club.

The first match of the evening saw the Tangtastics and Velocity share the court. The Tangtastics finished the game with a score of 29-12. The game was a demonstration of excellent teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship from both teams. With high energy and continuous smiles on their faces, the players ensured it was a match played in the best spirit of the game.

Following that, the Super Troopers and Goal Diggers stepped up for their match. With a final score of 14-2, the Super Troopers showed great team spirit. Their play was marked by great positive energy, with everyone enjoying the game, demonstrating the true essence of social netball.

Finally, a highly energetic match between the Pocket Rockets and Pink Ladies ended with a score of 16-13 in favor of the Pocket Rockets. The enthusiasm was palpable on both sides, with each player contributing greatly to their respective teams. The camaraderie and sportsmanship displayed were impressive, making it a game well played in the true spirit of social netball.

A special mention needs to be made for the Most Valued Player of the week - Keeley McLaren from Super Troopers. Her enthusiasm and movement around the court were remarkable. Keeley's positive contribution was evident and appreciated by both teammates and opponents alike. Well done, Keeley!

As we look ahead to Week 3, we're excited for another evening of friendly social netball. It's not just about keeping active, but also about meeting new people and developing our netball skills in a supportive environment. Whether you're a seasoned player or a newbie to the game, we're eager to see everyone back on the court for another fun-filled evening of social netball.
