Play in the Leicester Monday Netball League

Week nine of the Leicester Monday netball league brought plenty of enjoyable moments, with teams taking to the court and giving their best in a relaxed yet competitive atmosphere.

Spice Goals put together a confident performance against Pivot And Pass, finishing with a 7–2 win. Their well-organised play and strong teamwork helped them create clear scoring opportunities throughout the match. Pivot And Pass showed good spirit and commitment but were unable to narrow the gap this time.

Elsewhere, Ellesmere Elites produced an impressive display against Fast Break. Their pace and accuracy paid off, resulting in a 13–5 victory. Fast Break worked hard and stayed positive, but the Elites maintained control for most of the game.

Although it was a challenging week for Pivot And Pass, there was still a standout moment to celebrate. Michelle Bennett was named Most Valued Player of the week, recognised for her determination, effort and skill on court. Her performance was a highlight and a credit to her team.

As week nine comes to an end, Spice Goals and Ellesmere Elites sit among the league’s top scorers, reflecting their consistent performances so far this season.

With week ten approaching, teams are returning to training and looking ahead with enthusiasm. The Leicester Monday league continues to showcase the enjoyment, teamwork and passion that make netball such a great sport.
