Week eight of the Leicester Monday netball league brought another exciting round of matches, with teams showing great effort, teamwork, and progress as the season continues.

Fast Break faced Court Queens in a well-contested game, with Court Queens coming away with a 16–7 win. Both teams played with good energy, but Court Queens were able to take their chances and maintain control throughout.

In another match, Ellesmere Elites secured a 13–5 victory over Pivot And Pass. Despite the result, Pivot And Pass had a standout performer in Daniella Smith, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Her performance showed great determination and skill, making a strong contribution to her team.

Spice Goals also enjoyed a positive result, winning 19–2 against Nets Go Girls. They moved the ball well and worked effectively as a team, while Nets Go Girls continued to show effort and commitment throughout the game.

With just two weeks remaining, teams will be looking to finish the season strongly and continue building on their performances. It’s been great to see the enthusiasm and sportsmanship across the league, making it an enjoyable and competitive season for everyone involved.
