Leicester Monday night netball - week 3

Week three of the Leicester Monday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of competitive and spirited matches. The League featured several closely contested games, impressive teamwork, and performances that kept everyone engaged throughout the night.

One of the closest matches saw Court Queens take on Ellesmere Elites. In a well-balanced and hard-fought game, the Elites just edged ahead to secure a 16–15 win. Both teams showed great determination and composure, making it a fantastic contest to watch.

Spice Goals met Fast Break in another lively fixture, with Fast Break coming away with a 10–7 victory. The game was played in great spirit, with both sides demonstrating strong movement and teamwork across the court.

Pivot And Pass delivered a confident performance against Nets Go Girls, finishing 9–3. Their organised play and effective communication helped them maintain control throughout the match, while Nets Go Girls continued to show resilience and effort until the final whistle.

A special mention goes to Pivot And Pass’s Charlotte Martin, whose consistent performance earned her Player of the Week. Her contribution on court highlighted her importance to the team and reflected the positive team dynamic they’ve built.

As the Leicester Monday League continues, teams are settling into their rhythm and building momentum. Each week brings new opportunities for development, teamwork, and friendly competition, and it’s exciting to see how the season is unfolding.
