Play in the Leicester Monday Netball League

In the second week of the Leicester Monday Netball League, a series of closely contested matches took place in the League. Each team showed great determination, and it’s clear that the season is developing into a competitive and enjoyable campaign for everyone involved.

One of the standout fixtures this week saw Fast Break take on Ellesmere Elites. Both sides worked hard throughout the game, matching each other goal for goal to finish with a well-earned 12-12 draw. It was a balanced contest, with plenty of positive play from both teams.

Pivot And Pass also faced Spice Goals in another closely fought match. Spice Goals secured a 10-7 win after a steady performance. Pivot And Pass can take encouragement from the game, particularly from Sinead Stack, whose impressive movement and awareness on court earned her the well-deserved recognition as this week’s most valued player.

Court Queens delivered a strong performance against Nets Go Girls, coming away with a 24-2 victory. Their teamwork and consistency in front of goal saw them finish as the highest scorers in the League this week.

Overall, week two has provided plenty of competitive and enjoyable netball, setting a positive tone for the rest of the Leicester Monday Netball League season. There’s plenty more to come as teams continue to build momentum.
