Leicester Monday night netball - End of season

Congratulations to Court Queens on winning the league this season, and well done to our runners-up Ellesmere Elites. A special mention also goes to Kirsty Hamilton from Fast Break, who was deservedly named Player of the Season.

The Leicester Monday Play Netball League wrapped up with an exciting and memorable final week, as teams across the league came together for a series of competitive and enjoyable matches. The atmosphere was full of energy, with players showing great commitment and teamwork throughout.

Court Queens finished the season on a high, delivering a consistent and confident performance to secure the league title. With 9 wins and a total of 18 points, their efforts across the season were rewarded, reflecting the dedication and skill they brought to the court week after week.

Kirsty Hamilton of Fast Break stood out as a key player this season. Her performances earned her the Most Valued Player award, recognising her hard work, leadership, and positive influence on the game. Her contribution has been invaluable to her team and a pleasure to watch.

In the final fixtures, Ellesmere Elites produced a strong showing against Pivot and Pass, winning 18–5. Court Queens also demonstrated their tactical awareness and teamwork in their match against Fast Break, finishing with a 13–4 victory. These games highlighted the attacking flair and defensive effort seen across the league.

As the season draws to a close, players and supporters can look back on a league filled with great sportsmanship, competitive matches, and a strong sense of community. The Leicester Monday Netball League continues to showcase the enthusiasm and passion for netball, and we look forward to welcoming teams back for another exciting season.
