In the pulsating world of the Manchester Thursday Netball League, the ninth week of the season served up a host of thrilling encounters in Division 1, showing once again why this league is one of the city's most exciting sports spectacles.

The top billing for the week was the tense face-off between Go Netsetters and Tricksters. In a match that saw a consistent balance of attack and defence, Go Netsetters managed to edge past the Tricksters, with a final scoreline of 15-12. This win marks a significant leap forward in the Go Netsetters' campaign this season.

Simultaneously, the game between Court In The Act and Wingin It was a testament to the spirit of the sport. Despite a tough fight put up by Court In The Act, Wingin It emerged victorious with a scoreline of 8-4.

However, the most impressive performance of the week came from Interceptors as they routed Lets Go with a dominating scoreline of 16-4. It was a spectacular showcase of netball, with the Interceptors showing why they are considered one of the top teams in the division.

Despite the tough loss for Lets Go, the team was home to the most valued player of the week, Sapna Maduni. Maduni's phenomenal performance on the court, undoubtedly cemented her status as a key player in Division 1.
