Droitwich Spa Monday Netball Update 19th January

In an electrifying start to the Droitwich Spa Monday Netball, teams displayed stellar athleticism and sportsmanship. The first week of the season saw Droitwich Devils and Never Too Late assert their dominance on the court with victories.

The women of Droitwich Devils demonstrated their prowess with a 22-7 victory over Rogue Angels. The Devils' performance was thoroughly compelling and set a high bar for the rest of the season.

In the other game of the night, the Droitwich Diamonds fell behind Never Too Late with a score of 9-19. However, the Diamonds' robust defence and relentless determination painted a promising picture for future matches.

The most valuable player (MVP) of the week was Laura Johnston from Droitwich Diamonds. Despite her team’s loss, Johnston was a beacon of commitment on the court, showcasing her impressive skills and determination. Her exceptional game play stood out, earning her the well-deserved title of MVP for the first week.
