The sixth and final week of the Droitwich Spa Monday Netball took place on Monday night, bringing an enjoyable season of local netball to a close. Teams have shown great commitment throughout the weeks, with plenty of competitive matches and positive sportsmanship on display.
Droitwich Devils secured the league title with a 28–6 win over Droitwich Diamonds. The result rounded off a strong season for the Devils, who finished with six wins and a total of 12 points. Their consistent performances across the season helped them earn the top spot.
Despite the result, Droitwich Diamonds’ Emily Hand delivered an impressive individual performance and was named Most Valuable Player for the week. Her effort, skill, and determination on court made a real impact during the match and were well deserving of recognition.
Elsewhere, Rogue Angels faced Never Too Late in a closely contested game. After a competitive match, Never Too Late came away with a 12–9 victory, with both teams showing great determination throughout.
With the final games now complete, the Droitwich Spa Monday Netball season comes to an end. Congratulations go to Droitwich Devils for topping the table, and well done to all the teams who took part for their effort and sportsmanship across the season. The season once again highlighted the strength of local netball and the positive community spirit around the game.
