Droitwich Spa Monday Netball Update 11th May

The final week of the Droitwich Spa Monday Netball brought an exciting close to a fantastic season, with Droitwich Devils securing the top spot after a series of strong performances throughout the season.

The evening featured plenty of competitive and entertaining netball, including a closely contested match between Monday Misfits and the eventual champions, Droitwich Devils. Monday Misfits battled hard throughout, but the Devils’ composed teamwork helped them earn a 10-6 victory and confirm their place at the top of the table.

In another lively fixture, Droitwich Diamonds faced Rogue Angels in a game full of energy and determination from both sides. Rogue Angels produced a strong performance to take a 16-8 win, but both teams showed great commitment and attacking play across the court.

There was also individual recognition for Droitwich Diamonds’ Katy Bastock, who was deservedly named Most Valued Player of the Week. Her consistent performances, skill and effort throughout the season made her a standout player and a key contributor for her team.

Droitwich Devils’ title was a fitting reward for an impressive season, finishing with six wins and 12 points after showing consistency, teamwork and resilience week after week.

The curtain now closes on another brilliant season of netball, filled with competitive matches, memorable moments and fantastic individual performances. With such a strong finish to the season, there is already plenty of excitement building ahead of next season’s competition.
