Play in the Droitwich Tuesday Netball league

As the sun set over Droitwich Leisure Centre last Tuesday, the air was filled with the lively hum of Week 6 of the social netball season. All levels of experience were represented, from seasoned veterans to enthusiastic newcomers. The atmosphere was inviting, the camaraderie was tangible, and the spirit of friendly competition was infectious.

In the first match, Lido Legends went head to head with Ball Huggers. Both teams displayed a fantastic sense of sportsmanship and positive energy throughout the game. Ultimately, Ball Huggers finished the game with a score of 13-1, demonstrating excellent teamwork and commitment.

The second match of the evening saw Elegance face off against Bottoms Up. Reflecting the spirit of the game, both teams showcased exceptional teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship. With positive energy radiating from each player, Bottoms Up came out on top with a final score of 22-7. It was an enjoyable game, played in great spirit by both teams.

The final game of the evening featured the Droitwich Devils against the team Never Too Late. In a game that will be remembered for its nail-biting finish, Never Too Late managed to edge out their opponents with a final score of 25-24. Despite the close scoreline, the emphasis remained on camaraderie and mutual respect between the two teams.

On a special note, the Most Valued Player of the week was Ali Gautier from Elegance. Gautier's enthusiasm, movement around the court, and positive contribution were appreciated not only by her teammates but also by her opponents. The beauty of her game was in the grace she exuded in every step she took on the netball court.

As we look ahead, Week 7 promises another evening of friendly social netball. This is not simply about scoring points, but about keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive and welcoming environment. Whether you're a seasoned player or picking up a netball for the first time, we look forward to seeing you next week for another evening of camaraderie and fun.
