Play in the Droitwich Tuesday Netball league

The Droitwich Leisure Centre was buzzing with camaraderie and lively spirits for Week 5 of the social netball season. The evening saw players of all experience levels join together for a fantastic night of friendly competition, demonstrating that netball is indeed a game for everyone.

The Droitwich Devils and Lido Legends took to the court first, their match was a delightful spectacle of skill and teamwork. The Devils wrapped up the game with an 18-7 score, but the Legends put up an admirable fight, displaying a great spirit throughout.

The evening continued with Bottoms Up facing off against Ball Huggers. Their game ended with an 11-3 score in favour of Bottoms Up. It was a joy to watch both teams play, with players encouraging each other and keeping the atmosphere light.

The last match of the evening saw Never Too Late and Elegance take to the court. With great conviction, Never Too Late concluded the game with a score of 27-10. Both teams showcased an impressive commitment to the game, with plenty of positive energy and sportsmanship on display.

A special mention must be made for Lauren Hodges from Ball Huggers, who was recognised as the Most Valued Player of the week. Lauren's enthusiasm and movement around the court did not go unnoticed, with her contribution greatly appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.
