Play in the Droitwich Tuesday Netball league

This week marked an exhilarating Week 6 at Droitwich for our lovely social netball community, where the spirit of camaraderie was as contagious as ever. Players from all walks of life and experience levels came together to appreciate an evening of netball, full of positivity and high spirits.

In the first match, Elegant Devils played with a lot of heart and finished the game with a score of 17, facing off against their friends from Never Too Late who ended with a score of 21. Despite the score line, both teams demonstrated excellent teamwork and commitment, playing with uplifting energy and in the true spirit of the game.

The second match saw Bottoms Up showing their persistence to finish with a score of 15 against their fun-loving counterparts, the Dollies, who ended the game with a score of 10. Both teams exhibited great sportsmanship and positive energy, and it was clear to all present that the game was played in great spirit and enjoyed by all.

This week, a special mention goes to our Most Valued Player, Liz Hedges from the Dollies. Liz's unwavering enthusiasm and artful movement around the court brought a notable positive contribution to the game, appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we draw closer to Week 7 and another beautiful evening of friendly social netball, it is important to remember why we all gather here week after week. It’s not just about the competition, but about staying active, meeting new people, and developing our netball skills in a supportive environment.

As this season draws to a close, a warm applause to team Never Too Late who have truly shown what social netball is all about this season. Not just about leading the numbers, but leading in spirit, enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

So, as we bid adieu to an exciting season, let's carry forward all the positivity and look forward to another fantastic season ahead. A big thank you to all players for their participation and spirited performances throughout the season, uniting us all in our shared love of netball.
